UNIFORM ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
One of scouting's methods of youth development includes wearing a uniform. The Scout uniform makes Scouting visible as a force for good, signifies the Scout's commitment to Scouting ideals and serves as an economic equalizer of all boys.
All of our boys have an opportunity to be in full uniform, through 0ur Council Uniform Assistance Program that is sponsored by the Lilly Endowment Fund. If an active boy/family is in need, it only takes a short, simple application and $20.00 for a complete shirt, neckerchief, slide and patches appropriate to the boys rank and program.
For more information call 317.925.1900 and ask for an application for the Uniform Assistance Program. Once the application is complete, you take it to any Scout Service Center and pick up the uniform. You will have to apply the patches yourself.
This program will allow us to make sure all of our boys are equally uniformed!
Youth Protection Training Online
The Youth Protection Guidelines website now offers Youth Protection Training online. The site provides a full training course and test, allowing members of the council to receive credit for their training. It is also an excellent reference page for BSA Youth Protection Guidelines.
