Guiding Light

What is a GUIDING LIGHT?

A guiding light is the volunteer in your pack, troop, team, or crew that most exemplifies Scouting spirit in their actions and in their commitment to Scouting

What are the guidelines to become a GUIDING LIGHT?

A pack/troop/team/crew simply turns in the name of the person from their unit that they wish to honor. Each unit can determine their own guidelines. Then be sure that the recipient is present at the annual Pathfinder District Recognition Dinner on Saturday February 2, 2008 to receive their award. Members of the unit should attend, too, and join in the festivities of Pathfinder District Recognition Dinner.

To recognize someone in your unit, simply fill out the form below. Only one recognition per unit is accepted so be sure to consult with your unit leadership to determine the best candidate.
